Current Project Annoucement
Phase 2: Ethnobotany Study for Culebra, PR
Phase 2 of this project focuses on the systematic documentation of oral histories from local community members in Culebra to examine observed changes in island habitats over time. These qualitative, place-based accounts contribute to a deeper understanding of the environmental, cultural, and ecological impacts of habitat change. By integrating community-derived knowledge, the project supports adaptive natural resource management and informs policy development that addresses both current conditions and future habitat challenges.
The development of Phase 2 is made possible through the generous funding provided by Applied Heritage and Resource Solutions.
